“ What a wonderful, cosy, welcoming restaurant. Service was flawless and charming, the decor is lovely - checked tablecloths, retro posters and family photographs, and the prices are reasonable. The food is outrageously good! Best dough balls I’ve ever had! Delicious homemade pastas, they serve pizzas too, and a range of Italian desserts. They have lots of lovely wine and cocktails too. A really joyful, happy place. Will most certainly go back! ”
“ Small restaurant so be sure to book. They accommodated us without a booking (party of 2 only thankfully) however restaurant became full very quickly. And there is a good reason for this... Their food is very good. Prices reasonable as well. Portions are bigger than your average Italian restaurant which is always good. I definitely recommend this place!! We had a great time celebrating a new job. Apologies for not having any pictures, I guess we were focused on eating.. We got a massive starter, a portion of pasta each and a bottle of wine. Will definitely visit again. ”
“ Absolutely perfect meal in every respect. We ordered off the specials menu - clam vongole and crab ravioli. The dishes were beautifully presented and each server charmingly friendly. We should come here every few months ”
“ Lovely family restaurant 8 minutes' walk from Sydhenam station. Relaxed atmosphere and service. Plenty to choose from on the menu. I wish we had noticed the Specials board before choosing our dishes as there were some enticing options there, too. ”
“ Wonderful traditional Italian! Real home made dishes - the papdelle with duck ragu beautifully rich and meaty and the sea bass so delicate and perfectly prepared. We turned up on a Tuesday evening and were very lucky to get a table - will definitely make a reservation next time! ”
“ Absolutely lovely family run Italian restaurant, the kind of place you feel well looked after. Our meal was spectacular with each dish perfectly balanced and clearly prepared from scratch. Aglio & olio (spaghetti with anchovies & chilli); radicchio, beetroot and goats cheese salad; grilled sardine starter - all really fresh and beautiful. Recommend dining in for their warm welcome. ”
“ Superb Trattoria with superb food and service. Spaghetti aglio e olio was one of the best things I’ve had in a restaurant for quite some time. ”
“ Hands down the best restaurant in SE London possibly all of London. We always have amazing food, the most friendly service I’ve ever had and the atmosphere whenever you chose to visit it brilliant. We are so lucky to have it as our local Italian!! A*** Full marks and a clear 10/10. We spend every special occasion here :) ”
